Smuggling is a phenomenon in which society, the economy and the criminal justice system have often faced a major challenge in the countries of the world. The basis of this, they obtain large profits at a low cost outside the legal process and standards defined for the economies of the country; therefore, the fight against trafficking through criminal and police prevention has always been a priority in the economic programs of the states. The purpose of this paper is to examine the role of modern information and communication technologies (ICTs) in preventing smuggling of goods with increased detection risk. Leading research is a descriptive-analytical attempt using library documents. The findings of this study showed that technological methods in two "soft" and "hard" strategies, such as cyber-information, process improvement, geographic information system, radio frequency identification, ultraviolet technology and CCTV, increased the discovery of commodity smuggling goods Provides. The results of this study show that while the many opportunities offered by smuggling have made it more difficult and more difficult to combat the phenomenon of smuggling, the increased risk of trafficking in smuggled goods by the use of modern information and communication technologies in its precursor prevention context, smuggling agents are disappointed with the continuation of work.
