Background and Aim: The purpose of this study is to identify criminal identities in cybercriminals. By undermining the relationship between moral standards and personal behavior, these characteristics emphasize criminal attitudes as the main causes in the occurrence and maintenance of criminal behavior. Method: In the first stage of the research, components of criminal cognitions were extracted from quantitative and qualitative studies as a data source. In the second stage, the researcher used a narrative analysis method with a pluralistic approach to develop a conceptual model of criminal cognitions. Benefit from cyber criminals. The statistical population of this study consisted of cybercriminals who were arrested by FATA Fateb police in 1997 and 1998. From this community, a sample was selected through targeted sampling to reach the point of theoretical saturation and data. The main research tools were semi-structured interviews and McAdams' revised form.
Results: The findings showed that in cybercriminals, criminal psychological cognitions (including obsessive-compulsive personality, anxiety, mood, sex and aggression); individual criminal cognitions (including coping styles, identity styles). , Schemas, defense mechanisms, etc.), interpersonal and environmental cognitions of crime (including functional disorders of family, communication with friends, opposite sex, marital conflict and school and school problems) and finally social cognitions of crime Za is observed.
Conclusion: Criminal identities in cybercriminals lead to the formation of attitudes, beliefs, norms that create psychological and individual characteristics in them that motivate (Intention to commit criminal behavior) and to commit cybercrime in criminals.
